I have worn hair extensions since I was 18. In this time there has been vast progression in the area of volumizing; from anything for fine, limp hair to sever cases of hair loss. With the difficulties of creating today’s styles, if you were born with unfortunately fine hair or have developed a hair loss condition, achieving the look that you desire can be even more difficult without volumizing techniques, such as hair extensions.
For a number of years now we have seen great success in both volumizing and adding length to the back and sides of the head. Despite this, clients still wanted more. They complained of fine fringes, high hairlines, partings with a lot of scalp showing through, as well as flat crowns. These hair conditions all prevented them from achieving their desired look. Due to these problem areas all being on the top area of the head, it restricted hair extensions being used to cover these areas without being highly visible.
Over the past 5 years, I have developed 9 different designs to combat these hair problems. The results have been amazing and clients just love the designs, which gives them the look that they are after. The secret to our solution is to custom colour and cut the volumizer, genuine 100% Russian or South American hair. This matches the texture and weight so that it falls perfectly. If required, we can also combine these with our well renowned hair extensions for a longer look.
I have always had very fine hair, a fine hairline and high forehead. I could never get the full scoop fringe I wanted. Now, forty something, the new thirty, my hair seems to be even finer, especially on top. I don’t have hair loss as such, but have lost hair and it is deteriorating more with age.

From start to finish, some of our custom made volumisers will take approximately six to eight weeks. We design our volumisers here at West End Hair. They are all hand-made and can be worn for 5 weeks using our re tighten method or can be worn as a clip in.
